I am thinking of moving after 30+ years at SUNTRUST, service is very slow, nice people buy the worst service and now all branches are the same, slow but nice. I want FAST and out. And Out of SunTrust is coming. But in all fairness I ask my friends and they say all bank have gone to poor service and long delays. Anyone like their Bank? AND heir rates on savings and CD`s are way below others I recently moved over 150 out to a 3.5 CD, I was getting 1% at Sun.
Victor and I went into this bank on Liberty Hwy.on 7/26/2018 and the back lady told us that they will be with us in a few minutes. There were a policer officer in there getting some information, so we sat down until they finish talking to the officer.After the officer left the other lady with long hair turn and walk off didn't ask if we needed any help. Then another customer came in and when they walk in the lady with the long hair walk back up to the counter and help that customer and never came to help us. So we turn around and walk out and I told my boyfriend that I will not open an account with them.We look at it that the lady with the long hair was prejudice and when we got up to leave no one still didn't ask could they help us.
Your place is sorry. My wife came in today about a question on our mortgage. They were to lazy to help. Told her she wasn’t on the mortgage. We are switching next week unless you contact me.

This was a disappointing experience. I was there to help an elderly lady as a witness for her will to be updated and notarized for surgery. Nancy Glass is a customer of Sun Trust. She called for an appointment and was told to arrive at 4:00. We arrived on time and no customers were in the bank. We sat for 45 minutes and finally had to go back to find someone. They came back and said they could not do it because of the wording. We ended up going to an attorney who notarized the signature within 15 minutes without concern to the wording. She just needed the signature notarized and not a review from bank staff. Their job is to notarized her signature and not to review the wording. Not appropriate customer service. Please instruct the staff at Jamestown Road what is their job.
I went to this location on 6/22 and based on new privacy rules the teller needed to input a lot of information on me. She was having trouble with this and it took her manager Angie Sizemore(who was near us watching) a long time to come over to help her and then she walked away. The teller at this point was still unable to process my deposit and Angie who was talking to another employee and looking at her phone never came back to offer assistance. I had to leave after about 15 minutes because I had left my elderly mother waiting in the car. I told Angie as I walked past her that I was not happy with the service that I received there. She just stared at me. I went to another branch and was helped quickly and efficiently.
Tried calling several times, ft. Finally got an answer than was still put on hold for an additional 20 minutes. My call was really important.
I was at the atm trying to make a cash deposit, it did not go through and took some of my money . When I went into the bank. Was told I could call the back of the card or he could call with me I did not get any where with him. This is not the first time there was a problem with suntrust one of there employees stole my wife personal info. We will be closing the account
Had the vice president Jeff Rogers basically call me a liar after I said to him that he told my wife and I that a HELOC we applied for at Suntrust was to be a fixed rate. After dinging our credit we were told that the loan was to be at a variable rate. When I questioned that with Jeff Rogers he told me he never said it was a fixed rate. He basically called me a liar.
He also told us we could borrow 85% of our house value. We also found out later from his agent that the most we could borrow was 75%. Another fabrication from Mr. Rogers.
There may very well be an honest SunTrust banker someplace but I wouldn't expect one at the branch near Cool Springs. I do not deal with a bank that accuses me of lying when in fact they are the dishonest ones.
This compliment is overdue! Back in November 2017, Jason Floyd worked with me and my son, Joshua, through a stressful finanicial situation. I want you to know that I appreciated his consideration of my situation.
I just spent 15 minutes at the drive thru in Dawsonville to make a cash payment. No communication whatsoever from the teller. I pushed the call button to see if there was a problem. No response. I pushed the call button again after 10 minutes and, eventually, a teller tells me they're starting to process my payment. What have them been doing the past 10 minutes. A few minutes later I hit the call button again to see what the problem is and "they're processing the payment." It's cash, how long does it take??? After 15 minutes I pressed the call button, no response so I kept pressing the call button. The response "that's not going to make your payment go through faster." A few minutes later they finally send out my receipt. I went inside the bank to speak with the manager. Imagine my surprise to find the tellers gossiping about my transaction telling each other "it wasn't their fault" loud enough that I can clearly hear them in the lobby. Even more of a surprise, when I finally get to speak with, who I was told, was the branch manager one of the tellers who do gossiping when I walked in was the "head teller." The head teller proceeds to tell me that the teller at the window was busy taking care of the car that came in after I had already sent in my transaction. Obviously, SunTrust ignored my transaction from the start by taking the customer behind me according to the head teller. Then she claims the person who eventually handled my transactions system was down and that she "didn't realize I was there so long." Sounds like an excuse to me for their very poor customer service. Topped off by the branch manager telling me he didn't know what he could do to make it up to me. Really?
Last weekend I noticed a hold on my direct deposit Pay from my job with Lyft, which incurred a couple of Overdraft fee's. I wasn't notified of this stop on my deposits and was still waiting for my replacement card. They said since the new Bank card was otw and they had already put a stop on the old card they would waive those draft fee's since I could've avoided them altogether. The Manager of the Bank now, the Manager said the fee's would come off by the next day. Almost a week now, still hasn't taken them off....
I sent my companion to Glenside branch yesterday with a check, made payable to me. He was asked for his i.d., which he provided. Then the drive in teller (after waiting in line for 20 minutes-which is typical there) advised him they did not cash "3rd. party checks:. No. 1-it was not a third party check. No 2-both our names are on a substantial savings account at this location, and the drive in teller had his id to confirm who he was. No 3-just a few day prior, I was able to cash a $10 check from the same company made payable to me at this same drive in teller window. I don't understand how they considered this a "3rd. party" check. I am ready to pull my savings and go elsewhere.
In December of 2017, I moved to Bangkok, Thailand for an indefinite stay. I was able to conduct my on-line banking with out any problems until I received 4 months ago. I tried to login and received a message indicating my access was denied for security purposes and that I was to contact customer service by phone. Since February 1st of this year I have spent almost 5 hours on the phone (calling from Thailand) costing me a lot of money in doing so. After many conversations with customer service reps and two supervisors I've come up empty. One insured me that a Vice President would call me within the next 2 hours. That phone call never came. I still am able to pay my bills and withdraw money from my account with my debit card until yesterday. I received an email fro SunTrust that since I haven't logged in to my account for 120 days that my account will be deactivated. This puts me in a extremely bad situation since my two retirement checks are deposited in this account and I pay my bills through it, too! On February 6th, 2018 I received a satisfaction survey administrated through SunTrust asking me to rate a Customer Representative Ms. Manege Guerrier regarding a some three hour phone conversation we had with my concerns. Ms. Guerrier, I dare say tried everything she could and I rated her very well - the bank on the other hand continues to let my concerns slip through the cracks. I submitted this survey expecting to hear back from the bank since I had requested they do so in the narrative portion of the survey. I have yet to hear back from this bank. Last night I was told my a Customer Service Supervisor Monica that I will be required to return to the nearest branch location and physically produce identification in order to reactivate my account. I guess I don't have to tell you the cost associated with this trip to the United States. I can certainly appreciate the security measures in place, but I suppose and in my opinion is SunTrust really following there mission statement. I will travel to the United States and close my account with SunTrust and seek out a more regional or local bank where people know your name.
Really, I’m out of town , go their web site , on their schedule it says 8:30 am Til 4:00pm (now open ) , therefore I call as it is 8:45am , automated answer tells me that the bank is closed at this tim . Wow , need to talk with someone before I board my flight. Call customer care and they assure me that the bank is open , it’s their business hours .

of 1685 North Decatur Road I appreciated their work I prefer to
to go this bank when I deposited my check,and other stuff to do.

So it is called a bank and I went in to get $50 ones as a small business owner at 14 N Laburnum Ave Richmond VA. and they asked if I had an account. I did not and was not near my bank. and was desperate for change because running behind. They refused. Don't waste your time with this so called (bank).

I tried calling to get information and also had the phone ring at least 6 times while I waited to talk to the manager or an associate. I know that the branch closed at 12 oclock I also was a teller for many years and I know that the people have to pack up and put things away. Someone could have helped me. In traveling from Asheville NC to Mt Pleasant, I forgot my checkbook. I need to pay my insurance before it is canceled. There is no way to get help because the one bank open can't be reached by phone. ( the message says number has been disconnected. Where is your 24 hour call center and telephone number? Very frustrating and not happy about your phone services.
Terrible customer service! I bank with SunTrust and have always had nothing but good experiences with them until having to deal with this branch. They gave me the run around while going in there to withdraw funds for a rather large amount, told me I needed to wait and speak with the manager. I was there for approximately 40 minutes until I was told because of my attitude at that point they could not Give me my money. Yes, I bank there, and they were withholding MY money from me. I went to the bank on Chatham Parkway and with no problems they were more than happy to do the withdraw there. Much better customer service there and much more competent.
experienced a theft done by a employee of this branch and the victim is a Alzheimer patient. Manager rude and did not call my claim in and when I called fraud they are telling me I have to go back into this branch again and call fraud while I'm in the branch since the branch manager did not.
Worst banking experience I've ever had at a bank. I've been to the SunTrust Wildwood, FL branch 3 times & have been treated rudely every time. The last time I went I sat in the drive thru lane for 17 minutes. (I timed it) All I was doing was making a small deposit with a deposit ticket from my own checkbook. I watched the teller work on other things & didn't even come to pick up my stuff from the drawer for 16 minutes! Then she did my deposit & it only took her 14 seconds! I will never go back to that branch. I've been an account holder with them for over 15 years & have never bounced a check or overdrawn any of my accounts. They absolutely care nothing about their customers. I have been to other banks that I'm not an account holder & been treated nice. Much nicer than my own bank. I am considering taking my business elsewhere. I certainly won't ever do business with the SunTrust Wildwood, FL branch again.
Never in my life dealt with a bank like this,lie,lie,lie,hell the branch manager won't even take my calls anymore and if I go into see him he always has somebody with him right now...
In general this bank and Suntrust as a whole suck,if you don't believe me Google there reviews,not just mine.
