I manage the office of a small housing authority which is strictly non-profit. It is ridiculous that I need to pay for an account verification that HUD requires I get for every tenant. I know how much time it takes to pull up that information and send it. Charging $15 - $20 is crazy. In all the years I have done this only one other bank tried to make my office or their customer pay for this service.

I have been a Commerce Bank customer for over 30 years in Kansas City and Lee’s Summit, Mo. I recently married and moved to Peculiar, Mo, and went to the Harrisonville branch to change my name on my accounts and add my husband’s name. It was a terrible experience. We waited 15 minutes for someone to help us and finally left without being assisted. During our wait we saw three different employees who were capable of helping us. Two of them sat together WITHIN FIVE FEET of us and chatted with a customer, I assume, about their children’s illnesses and hospital/doctor visits. OUR PRESENCE WAS NEVER EVEN ACKNOWLEDGED. It was rude, inexcusable behavior and to be honest, insulting. On my way out, I stopped and relayed my disappointment to a gentleman sitting in his office. He offered to get someone to help us but it was far too little, too late. This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I will not return to this branch in the future - ever. A very poor reflection of Commerce Bank.

Disappointed with Commerce Bank Wentzville, Mo. Bank customer for over 55 years. Got sick couldn't get out, ask daughter to get check cashed for me and was charged $6.00 to get some of my own cash. Wondering if I should get a bucket, take my little bit of money out of the bank and bury it in the back yard. We seniors have a hard enough time why not let us enjoy our few years left here on this earth. 6 bucks isn't much but every penny counts.

Vanessa Smith at your 83rd and Mission road location in Prairie Village saved my day. I was very frustrated with a banking situation. Vanessa made some phone calls and took extraordinary steps to make my situation a successful one. Complete professionalism!! Thank you Vanessa for treating me with such respect and consideration.
