The Bank of Tescott

I've banked about 10 years at Bank of Tescott. Service is always very courteous and helpful. I found much better interest rates and fee structure than my previous multi-state bank, with plenty of options. Do wish there were more hours at one of the branches though.

I just went to the Bank of Tescott Salina branch on North Santa Fe and opened a personal checking account , the customer service was wonderful. Emily a new employee was very nice and so was the lady training her , sorry don't remember her name . The only things I don't like is that they don't do starter checks , I don't know how long it will be before I get my checks in the mail . And also even though I understand that you have to have 2 forms of ID and 2 forms of proof of proof of my address to get a debit , for each person opening the same joint account which once they receive them it can still take 10 days to receive the debit cards . This is very inconvenient , how are we supposed to pay my bills without any checks or debit cards , now we have to keep most the cash from paychecks and purchase money orders to pay the bills and the bank charges $3.00 per money order . My husband opened an account at first bank Kansas and he got a debit card from the bank right after opening account . I am giving 3 stars because of how nice Emily and the lady training her was . Your bank has 5 branches now in the area , I feel that you need to upgrade your policies and make things easier for your customers . Also your hours of operation need to be better too at least one branch out of the five ( one of the ones in Salina ) should have drive thru stay open longer . And money should always be available immediately after depositing , even if it is after 3 pm or after 4:30 pm . The customer should not have to wait until next day or longer for funds to be available to them .
