I understand Synchrony Bank if the parent of PayPal Credit, my account has been closed for several months and yet, I still get bills saying I owe money - This was paid off 8/29/2018 $40.00 - now have someone STOP the BS, I am not going to pay this new bill I just received. I had a Sam's club card thru your bank which I had to close and then set up auto payments of $100 per month due on the 4th. This month it didn't come out on time so i called and the girl I spoke to said if I paid over the phone then the auro payment would be voided this month but as turned out I was charged two payments of $100 and when I called was told that neither could be returned for at least 15 day. i think this is very bad practice in the banks way of treating customers.

I received an email for an inquiry i had sent for a Wal-Mart credit card. When I try to to in the reference number I was given and my personal info. It tells me it does not match. What do I need to do to get into this information when it does not like my information. Thank you

I got a $51 refund check from Lowe’s drawn on this bank I tried to deposit it in my ATM and it said I had to go to a Synchrony branch to cash it J have no idea where that bank is or if there is one in my town what kind of BS is this?

This is not a site to get information from your bank! Whoever is monitoring this site should hide this information on behalf of those who clearly don't know how to use this review site and think it's a direct way to ask questions of the bank about their account.

This is the only financial institution in the USA that DOES NOT provide a year end summary! We all do taxes, we all require a full accounting at years end, and this crazy organization does not have the ability to get it done. I spoke with Valery, the customer service lady at 866-893-7864 and challenged her to make the change . She gave me the lame answer that she would bring it up in a meeting. Oh yeah, sure. Be part of the change, woman! Its called customer service!!!!

I cannot speak to any credit card issues, as we do not have one. However, we bought a CD and opened both a Money Market and a High Yield Savings account online. The interest rates on all of these was substantially higher than our current institutions. The transfer was quick and easy. I did have the occasion to contact their Customer Service and, after the normal voice-mail screening, got through to a very helpful banker who spoke perfect English and was quite helpful. I have also used their online "chat" for another few simple questions and again had not problems. I am not an agent on any level for Synchrony Bank, but rather (so far) a satisfied customer.

Informed by “my” bank that your address has changed. Therefore they can no longer include your institution on their bill pay list. Can’t verify any change as “ your” company doesn’t offer customer support. Only automated phone service. Try hiring some one to answer a damn phone !

I made a payment on Oct 15th 2017 for more then the minimum due. Nov 2, 2017 after receiving my SSDI payment I made November’s payment which was over the minimum due. Instead of your bank posting my November payment you people rolled my November payment back until October 15th and combined it. Then charged me a late fee and tell me I’m 30 days pass due. Then you tell me I can’t pay six months payments early, however you have a no penalty payoff on your accounts. This is the worst bank I have ever dealt with in 60 years of life. You people are the rudeness most unprofessional jerks I’ve talked to lately.

I guess this outfit has responsibility for my Conoco/Union 76 gas credit card. So how do they sent the bill? Under the heading of drive savvy card which I thought was an ad for a new credit card so I deleted it and consequently got a 27.00 late fee charge. I am going to cancel this credit card and no longer patronize Conoco/Union 76.

Hate this bank and website. Can not get through to talk to n individual. I did not get my statement for October so I do not have a coupon to send with check payment that it states you have to have in order to make a payment. Have been to website to try to pay one time only can not do it by credit card they want checking acct no. I do not do banking on line. Have tried for 2 hours calling different no.s to no avail. To frustrating will deal locally next time. Do not know if storm in Florida has anything to do with not receiving bill or not.

Customer Service Depart,
I have been a credit card customer for man years. I deal mostly with a local Tire Discounters in my hometown of, Lebanon, Ohio.
I use to rec a bill every mont . I have not received one (via e-mail) for several months. Now I'm not getting a bill and have deal with this. Pleas put me back on home delivery. I am taking care of my brother at this house and his wife who is also ill.

I have a payment plan through Synchrony Financial...Home Design.

The first bill came for $144. I decided to pay double though Jacksonville Savings Bank.

Second bill came and I need to pay $315. Why the difference>

I just learned that you never received the first payment. I am puzzled. I used the address in Draper, UT.

My son warned me about Synchrony and now I understand. I am having the same problem and am concerned about your honesty.

If I want to pay through my bank, my payment should be sent to where??? I expect clarification from you as soon as possible.

Ok, i have,been charged 1508.00 twice for something we,never purchased either time. My credit score,has plummeted both times. How,much do,you,expect people to handle. Please take care of this problem, i opened a fraud and synchrony told me the problem was taken care of, now well the charge is back on there, how can this,be,possible when it is over $585 over my credit limit? So must i get a attourney to clear this fraud case? Because synchrony is the fraud problem!! NO STARS. AND ALSO BOTH XHARGES,ARE FROM DIFFERENT STATES!! since 11:30 a.m. - now, 1:25 p.m. - my time WASTED, RUDELY and inappropriately treated, non-English speaking "helpers" with scripts who do NOT listen, "hidden" contact information for Synchrony, no customer service whatsoever and nobody who CARES because they will just charge you exorbitant "late fees" for things that are THEIR fault...and they know this. Please have someone call me 210-415-1323. This company is misappropriating payments and refunds to my account in order to obtain deferred interest. When I ask for my account to be explained, they cannot because someone misapplied so many transactions is a mess. If I do not hear anything tomorrow, I will contact the Attorney General and the Secretary of State where you are incorporated. I am sorry, but I cannot handle this constant stress of trying to clean up the mess created by the stakeholder of this account.

Just glad to read other dissatisfaction with this so called financial institution. I called to report a lost credit card (MC) in Jan and today is February 22, 2017 and I have not heard one word from them. I will fix my problem but it is sad that people dont know how awful they are BEFORE doing business with them. My rating for them is a definite 0. Fortunately I do business with great banks.

Customer service is terrible. Cannot speak to anyone that can fix a real problem. They just spout rhetoric from a manual, and won't connect you with someone who can help. They basically told me I had to fix their screw up when someone else's payment was applied to my account.

When out sourcing for telephone support the clerks need to make sure they speak loud enough to be heard and slow enough to be understood. To have the ability to speak English does not mean you are a good English speaker. I just got off the phone with one of your representatives that sounded as if they were Asian and she was not respectful enough to speak loud enough to be heard then put me on hold and never responded. Poor service.
This was the telephone service for the credit card section handling Mattress Firm cards.

I have a Walmart account with Synchrony Bank which is great. I applied for a "Care Credit Card" recommended by the dentist on August 25, 2016. I had no Idea the card would be finance by Synchrony Bank and no Idea that this would be a"hard Credit Check". I received an email alert that my credit score has dropped because of the hard credit check done by Synchrony Bank. I Immediately contact Transunion. I was told called Synchrony Bank, asked them to mail you a letter stating that you had no Idea this would be a hard credit check and Transunion will remove it from my credit score. I immediately called Synchrony Bank, person who I spoke with told me to called the dentist office, said the dentist office responsible for the application. That didn't sound connect because banks does credit checks and finance not a dentist office. I tried over and over to explained, I have no fault or problems with Synchrony Bank. I am just asking for a letter stating " I had no Idea that Synchrony Bank was doing a "Hard Credit Check against my credit. I am asking for nothing more then a simple statement from Synchrony Bank.
