When my CD with TCF Bank came due they refused to move the monies into the existing money market account I had with them unless I visited them in person. I was on vacation for hours away from my local branch. In seven days the CD automatically will roll over to another CD of same term length. Do they honestly expect me to cut short my vacation because they refuse to help me over the phone? I deal with many banks and all of them (other than TCF) were happy to move my money out of a matured CD into my savings or checking accounts with that same bank over the phone. My suggestion is you go to bankrate.com as you will most likely find higher rate CDs available with much more customer friendly banks.

This Location is great! The branch manager is always helpful, and so are the tellers at the branch. I'm so happy I bank here with TCF. Always been my number one bank, and will continue to show my loyalty here at this specific branch. Thank you for your kind service!

I have found TCF Bank in good standing with me!!! Their work is above all re-proch . They take care of all my banking needs and should I have a problem they are right there to give me complete satisfaction. I would reccomend them highly

SOMEONE HAS COPIED YOUR CASHIER'S CHECK FORM AND TRIED TOO SEND ME A FALSE CHECK. JUST THOUGHT YOU WOULD LIKE TO KNOW . THE REMITTER 'S NAME SAYS DAVID SPENCER AND THE DATE DRAWN WAS 2/5/2018 AMOUNT WAS FOR $ 2870.00

This email applies to all TCF banking. I think it is disgraceful that you do not post the local branch phone numbers on your website. This is not customer friendly, and speaks to the fact that TCF Bank is not interested in establishing positive customer relations. It makes it extremely difficult to contact your local banker - nobody working in a consumer relations field such as banking should be too busy to take phone calls, which is the only reason I can think of that you would not post branch phone numbers. Disappointing. As a 60 year client of TCF it makes me question my loyalty.

Gotta love this bank! Fradulent accounts being reported with fradulent nsf fees. Reporting it to cras with addresses that aren't even there and have no forwarding addresses so that people cant contact or locate you so we as consumers can protect ourselves. Also adding your bank phone numbers that don't work to cras that the police and United States postal office both verified.
I know people who have had accounts and made deposits that were held and when they would call to ask what's going on were told...oh it shows on our end, your good. It takes time to update from our system then they go make purchases and get hit with multiple nsf fees.
Then magically after the deposit shows and all your hard earned money was taken and your still left in a hole.
Kinda strange there are lawsuits foing on over this as you read this.
Then you get reported lol
Pure greed and ruining peoples lives but with our RIGHTS violated, proof, and multiple people we can get our money back.
What goes around comes around. Something worth remembering here is that banks would not be in business without customers. No bank would make money and word of mouth goes a long way.

Your systems and your personnel, or lack thereof, have conspired to make me a very pissed customer. I have been trying, unsuccessfully, to access and view my debit account to check transactions and balances. Starting at before 6 A.M. yesterday (Sat. A.M.), I have yet to be able to view my account, get info online on why I cannot access my account, or even speak to a human being to explain the situation to me [ even though the local branch I visit in Darien, IL, has open branch hours today. Just what the bleep are you doing?? If I were not so limited in my physical mobility, I would have certainly ceased being a TCF customer earlier, if not yesterday. Your customer service has flunked, and I would grade them below 'F' if possible. Get someone to PAY ATTENTION AND HELP ME = phone (331)625-9568. >> N.B. - zero stars if possible.

I used your online info here to know bank hours. When I got there at 745 they were closed and finishing up. They said they close at 7 whereas online here it says 8. They said I could enter deposit at ATM but I cannot because it is a business account and I did not set that up. What a hassle. You should keep bank site updated.
