Got locked out of online banking and you should have a 24 hour customer service. It's Saturday I have to wait until Monday even though the Allen Park branch is open now there's no direct number to speak to anyone just the 800 number. Branches are not open Saturday. I really don't like this credit union. I opened up an account because the branch is near where I live, but it's not open on Saturday I just found that out today.

Was looking for a link to start online banking for an already established checking/savings account. Was told to wait in one of the rooms. Waited 20 minutes, listened to what flavors of suckers were available to two separate families before getting up and walking out. I will go to Livonia branch.

My experience with Zeal has been bad. They repo my mother car because she died. The account was current and had insurance coverage. The day after they repo the car I got a letter in the mail address to her estate advising that she broke her promise in their agreement and that they will sell her car in a private sale in 2 weeks. Advised to redeem the car we will have to pay the entire amount owe including their expenses. I went to the branch the day before they repo her car, provided them with a copy of the death cert and advised them that I was going to payoff the car. FYI her payment isn't due until the 15th of this month and went to the branch in the 4th. So I guess my mother broke the agreement because she died before the car was paid off. The back of their business card reads "Live with Character, Feel with Empathy, Act with Passion". What a joke!!

Everyone is very nice an helpfull at the Westland office. If you have been there once they greet you by your name when you come in .

I have been very happy with them since whenever it was they bought out whoever it was. I actually think their tellers are much better than most. There is racism in the world but writing checks for money you don't have in your account kinda doesn't fall in that category.

I have over draft my account a few times. One was $0.13 got charged a $30 fee. Another one a had 2 things coming out of my account the smaller one should of came out the day before the bigger one. When I seen the pending charges on on line banking of both I went to the ATM put money in to cover the smaller one it post that day then they released both charges on the same day and I got charged 2 $30 fees cause they took out the bigger one that should of came out the next day then they took out the smaller one which the money was in the account for. The laide who said she was the person in charge said we don't control how it comes out and she was very rude​and said well why did you over draft your account then. I should of only got charged one $30 fee. The last time I over draft my account the charge was pending on online banking so I drove up to the bank put the money in so it would clear with no over draft fee well of course the pending came off they took all the money out then charge me a $30 overdraft fee which the $30 over drafted my account. If you make mistake on over draffting your account this is something you might want to think about before choosing this bank. Just saying.
