Kim, it is now 5:54 pm Thurs. evening. I have just gotten off the phone with Freedom and while it is fresh in my mind here is what they told me: 1) Yes, they can release the Credit Union now under our client contract, but I would have to put in a request and it would only reduce my monthly payments to them by around $80 per month. Not very helpful I would say. And 2), Their usual negotiated settlement agreements with creditors are between 40 to 60 percent of the total balance. While speaking with her I got her to clear up my client dashboard to make it more readily accessible to me for information, which I have had troubles getting into many times - thus rarely use it.

If any of this is useful information, let me know. I will do what I can to work with you, but there is only so much I seem able to do at this point.

Thanks,
Jan e
