This is maddening!! I tried to open an online banking account but could not because the website kept asking me to check the non-existent "FAQ" box, and also that I agree to receive marketing information. Also, offering the 2nd chance checking account instead of one that is less predatory, which African-Americans have been the victims of for far too long, is truly not helpful to anyone that needs a second chance. The $500 and $100 deposits are excessive and not competitive. These things need to be reviewed and amended if your goal is to level the playing field for African- Americans.

started in 1982 not 1882 Like probably some of the Big Robbing Politician supporting banks. Give em' the same chance to get it together that everybody else got. Stop being hard on the one's thats trying to help us. what about the high yearly fee's they dont charge. the free atms. the security features that protect you. the youtube videos that encourage you to save that other banks dont provide. the black art pic's that no other bank puts on their card. the option to have a credit card from a federal bank with a 600 or less credit score to better yourself. other banks have bad service too...except they still trillionaires. Diversify your accounts to fit your needs. They set up for you to save money, not spend it. Not bad for 35 years of struggle. Its more people that like em' than dont. I got two cards with em' and one was a pain to get. but i wasn't complaing whe they offered a 3.5 interest rate on a savings account that no other bank offered on a basic savings account. Peace!

To Whom it may concern: In los Angeles CA. You have a One United Bank on crenshaw and ATM machine you have install between two buildings which is a drivethru, you have to get out car to withdraw you money. Which is very danger. You can be ROB very easily. this is just my opinion.I think the machine could be install inside of the bank. It would be more safer. Bank of America have ATM machine are inside the Bank.hope you give it some conversation. Thank You.!!!

Not good. If they desire to provide a alternative to main stream banks they need to do better. Customer service is very poor

That's powerful, 8 locations across America for a black owned bank. That's the popular thing to do, buy black and bank black. I think I may do that soon myself, but I've been patronizing black owned businesses for years.

Hi.
A friend sent a Facebook payment to me back in December and i attached my OU card to the payment so that i could receive the funds.
It never happened and i was informed the if anyone wants to place money into my OU account it would have to be done in person.
So my issue is, where are the funds my friend sent to me? His bank reflects the funds were not returned and OU has the most ridiculous policy I've ever heard of.
As of today's date-those funds are in limbo and I am in need of tracking them down.
I appreciate any assistance afforded. Thank you.
