Closing my accounts with Denali State Bank. Been with them for over 20 years, personal and business. Wanted to refi my rental cabin in Tok and they gave me the run around for over 2 month just to say that they are unable to finance it as commercial, which it is an investment and income property, because Tok has no commercial zoning.....well, this ALASKAN Community bank sure supports their business customers. They have a bank in Tok, right on the Alaska highway, just steps from my rental cabin ( which is located right on the Alaska Highway in the middle of town ) ....wonder if they claim that as commercial property ??????? I don't need them, they need us. I started taking my main business to other banks long time ago because of their ways, only kept one business account open for convenience. Ha ! They charge more fees for this and that then the IRS! See ya.....

On 1/4/2018 I went into Denali State Bank to pay an overdrawn account. After I paid the overdraw I requested to have my card reactivated, Vikky Ericsson the Branch Manager told me she will not reactivate my card for an undetermined amount of time, adding an extra provision that I must forfeit $100 a month of my income to remain in the Bank before she would consider my request. Seeing as how this is the one and only branch in Tok and the one and only way I can pay my bills her actions prevent me from providing a means to pay my bills adding a hardship on my family. She is using her position of power for personal Vendetta.
