I've been a member of this FCU since 1983. Today I was treated disrespectfully when I came in to make a deposit. Not only was the teller not friendly, she was openly hostile. It only got worse when i presented my deposit. She held it up to the light, stared at it a long time, turned it over and over, told me she was going to make a copy of it, and asked me 'where did you get this?' while scowling at me. She acted like she thought i had found it on the street corner and her attitude made me feel belittled and unwelcome. She then said there would be a 5 day hold since it was a large out of state check. I replied pleasantly that I had expected it to be held. I asked her name, since the name plate was blank. She told me she was the head teller and the usual teller, Judy, was out sick. That's very disappointing for a lot of reasons... I can only conclude this woman was not happy about having to do Judy's job and was taking it out on her customers. How professional. I also want to say that the previous time I was at this branch making a deposit, she came through the teller area, hunched over and staggering and it got my attention because it was unusual. She actually walked into the wall then corrected herself and went on. I assumed she was either drugged or drunk at 10:30 in the morning. Is anyone supervising this supervisor? I also want to add that the regular teller, Judy, is excellent at her job and very nice.
